Sweet. Why are LOTR games so goddamn good lately?
Awesome game. I throughly enjoyed it. Very well done and I like the blood as well. My gaming experience isn't complete without a little red in the mix, especially seeing it in a Middle Earth setting. Balance: good. Longevity: good (something Dad 'n Me didn't quite accomplish). Fluid artwork. Offered a decent challange. Great work.
Now on to what could use polish. At the beginning of the game, why do I need to start with 10 lives. Users should start out at three, tops. Maybe I'm a better gamer, but having ten lives is too easy. I ended the game with 14 lives.
The weapons are a good balance, but I had a problem with the sword. It is weaker and has less range than the staff. I ended up ignoring it entirely and sticking to the staff. The sword needs to be more powerful and to attack as often as the staff, or perhaps make the staff slower and speed up the sword.
I'm sure this game took many upon many long hours to make into reality. I see it as time well spent.
